US TV ratings drop 4% for March, ESPN says

The ratings for the U.S. television network ESPN have fallen 4% to 9.8 million viewers, according to Nielsen.

That’s the lowest viewership for the network since March 1.

ESPN’s online and cable channels have not posted declines, but ESPN’s network average is down 6% compared with the same period last year.

The network has not posted any decline in the key demo since December.
